[PATCH] possible alternative for #2071
by Simo Sorce
Attached an untested possible alternative for #2071
The other option is the last patch of my previous patchset in the thread
named: "[SSSD] [PATCHES] Simplify credential krb5 cache manipulation".
Let's discuss if any of these approaches is ok, or if a third way needs
to be found.
Simo.

[PATCH] Two fixes for subdomain krb5 offline auth
by Jakub Hrozek
Hi,
I was playing with different offline krb5 authentication ways today when
testing Sumit's patches and I don't think the offline authentication of
subdomain users was correct. Attached are two patches -- one is just a
better error code, the other actually makes the SSSD search for the
right user entry during krb5 offline auth.
To test the first one, pause of shutdown a trusted AD while remaining
connected to the root domain AD.

Announcing SSSD 1.11.1
by Jakub Hrozek
=== SSSD 1.11.1 ===
The SSSD team is proud to announce the release of version 1.11.1 of
the System Security Services Daemon.
As always, the source is available from https://fedorahosted.org/sssd
RPM packages will be made available for Fedora 19, 20 and rawhide shortly.
== Feedback ==
Please provide comments, bugs and other feedback via the sssd-devel
or sssd-users mailing lists:
https://lists.fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/sssd-devel
https://lists.fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/sssd-users
== Highlights ==
* This release contains mainly bug fixes in the Active Directory provider
and setups where the SSSD is running on an IPA server instance. In
particular:
- Several cases where offline authentication did not work correctly for
users from Active Directory domains were fixed
- Fixed a resolver bug that caused the SSSD to only look up AAAA records
for trusted Active Directory servers
- SSSD is now able to resolve users from trusted AD domains using their
POSIX attributes
* The simple access provider now allows the administrator to specify
users or groups from trusted domains in the access or deny lists
* Handling of Kerberos credential caches was made simpler and more robust
== Packaging Changes ==
* A new subpackage sssd-common-pac was added to work around a packaging
bug. Previous SSSD versions would own the PAC responder by both the
IPA and AD providers, which is not permitted by the Fedora packaging
guidelines.

[PATCH] Allow using POSIX attributes for AD subdomain users
by Jakub Hrozek
Hi,
the attached patches implement ticket #2070 where subdomain users have
POSIX attributes and the SSSD honors them.
So far I only tested with AD provider, not with trust environment, but I
wanted to sent the patches for review anyway.
The patches mostly amend the search filters and bases which presumed
strictly ID mapping in AD domains before. I also implemented Sumit's
idea on how to handle the SFU attributes as a new map. I think it's the
right thing to do, because if SFU is configured on the server, then the
POSIX clients should honour it if ID mapping is off.
One question I have is whether we should explicitly document that the
POSIX attributes must be replicated in the man page?

[PATCH] ad: store group in correct tree on initgroups via tokenGroups
by Pavel Březina
https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/ticket/2066
Please note, that these patches has to be applied atop
0004-util-add-find_subdomain_by_sid.patch from my simple provider
patches. You can also pull it from branch ad-groups at my fedorapeople repo.
I still don't know why AD returns Domain Users from root domain in
tokenGroups, even though subaduser is not member of DU(a)ad.pb (AD bug
perhaps?), but with these patches we store it correctly.
This should be also a step forward to #2064.

[PATCH] KRB5: Fix bad comparison
by Jakub Hrozek
Sorry, the attached patch is my fault, I should have reviewed better. I
found out when I compiled SSSD on my local laptop (as opposed to VM)
with clang and very strict CFLAGS.
