Seems, we are a bit late for F14's feature deadline, however, we are hoping this Music Creation Lite spin might be examined and if all is good make it as an F14 spin, see:

I think it would be hard to get this approved for F14.
I took a look at the ks file and it needs some work. --ignoremissing isn't allowed. Breaking out of the box wireless by removing firmware isn't going to fly.
Probably some of the other stuff being removed isn't such a good idea either.
Customizing services is also not generally allowed, so these would all need to be looked at as well.
Submitting this this late, when Spins SIG is in a crunch to get stuff done and short handed is a problem.
We can talk about this at the meeting tomorrow (1900 UTC), but my feeling is that the Fedora version of this should be targeted for F15 and that you should publish a remix if you really want people to be able use it for F14.
Getting this to fit on a cd and also look like Fedora is probably going to take some work. It might be worth taking a look at what MeeGo is doing in this regard. The desktop cd version is really tight and adding packages to it while staying on a CD will be tough.
Another option is to target DVD or 1 GB USB devices. Then things get a lot simpler.

We talked about this in the meeting and we agreed that getting this done properly for F14 is not doable. You can publish it as a remix for now and work on resubimtting it for F15.
If you do pursue this it would probably be helpful to discuss the spin in one of our meetings. If 1900 UTC is a bad time for you, then maybe nirik and I could meet with you at a different time. But it should probably wait for a few weeks, since we are scrambling to get some stuff fixed for beta and i am going on a vacation shortly.

Shall do.

Opines are opines.

05:00:00 is a bit late/early. Would 21:00 sometime be OK ?
Meanwhile, is there somewhere that we we can place the kickstart in version control to assist with our development ?
David.

I responded off list to this, so I'd better respond here as well.

I'm going to try to come up with some questions about the vision for the spin after doing some more careful reading. It might not get done until I get back from vacation. I think that is a better starting point than the ks file. I can attend an IRC meeting later in the day if we need some real time back and forth to better discuss this.

We don't. But I think we should. I added it as an agenda item.
