I had to re-install grub2 of a fedora remix (LiveDVD) and I was following the steps of following [1] link. But there was no "Rescue installed system" option under the remix I used.
I was using standard kickstart files provided by fedora to remix but not sure whether I missed any specific option. OR the "Rescue installed system" option is not available for Live media?

It is not, nor has it ever been. Rescue has always been install media only. ;(
It would be lovely if we did add a rescue app to the live media tho, IMHO.
