Note that Robotics is probably in fairly bad shape. I've been cutting
packages out of the robotics group in comps as they were orphaned and
retired, and by this point it doesn't have many packages left. Compare
current F44 group:
https://pagure.io/fedora-comps/blob/d9b3a37c804b39b03d5f1bc768aa9bff00fd3d9…
with how it looked back in, say, F30:
https://pagure.io/fedora-comps/blob/d9b3a37c804b39b03d5f1bc768aa9bff00fd3d9…
if anyone wants to take on this spin, they should at least look at
whether the current package set even constitutes a viable 'robotics
suite'. I am not a domain expert so I really have no idea; all I've
been able to do is drop the retired packages as they were retired,
after doing a quick check whether any other package seemed to be a
direct replacement (which was almost never the case for this group).

Allison,
I noticed the Robotics Spin also doesn't have a keep-alive ticket either,
So we'll need that as well, If the maintainer doesn't respond, I'll step
up.
As for the Scientific Spin, since it was mentioned the listing for it is
invalid, I'll take that on as well if the current listed person never
replies. (I left a comment in the Pagure ticket)
I have friends that use both of those spins, so I want to make sure
they keep going.

Hi all,
FESCo previously approved a requirement[1] that Spin/Labs owners send a
keepalive request in order to keep building the spin or lab. I have
opened Pagure issues[2] for all Spins and Labs for this release,
If you are the owner of one of those spins and labs, please reply in
the appropriate ticket by January 14, 2026 to indicate the spin should
continue to be produced. Note, I am working out permissions issues to
be able to set the Assignee of these tickets, but wanted to send this email
since many of you have already began commenting on the tickets.
If there is a spin or lab that does not have
an open ticket, please create one[3].
For the full list of Spins and Labs with maintainer assignments, see[4].
The reasoning for this is to not ship spins that are not actively
maintained. Future improvements to the release process that will allow
for teams to self-publish solutions will eventually remove the need
for these keepalives.
