Spins SIG & Wrangling
by Jeroen van Meeuwen
I hereby want to welcome our new Spins Wrangler, Bert Desmet.
That is, if everyone agrees with him taking on this task (please send +1's).
While sitting right next to him at LinuxTag/FUDCon in Berlin, I'm
walking him through our process and his task in that process.
Kind regards,
Jeroen van Meeuwen

Need a new Wrangler
by John Poelstra
Hi,
I volunteered to serve as the temporary "spins wrangler" for Fedora 11.
I will not be able to serve in this capacity for Fedora 12 so I am
no longer watching the spins categories for pages that need to be
reviewed. Anyone interested in the spins process should consider
volunteering to take this on.
This would be a great topic to discuss at the upcoming FUDCon as well as
spending time finalizing some of the unfinished documents and processes
around spins. I'd be glad to participate remotely to make this handover
go smoothly.

Spins SIG could use some more active participants
by Bruno Wolff III
Our Spins SIG meetings have been pretty poorly attended recently (just nirik
and I) and our Spins Wrangler for F11 has resigned from that position for F12.
nirik does not have time to take a more active role and I want to limit
my work in the Spins SIG to technical stuff and the Games Spin. I really
don't have a good big picture view of Spins.
I am not sure if kanarip has just been short on time recently or if he is
looking to change his level of involvement in the Spins SIG on a long term
basis.
Besides needing a new wrangler, we need to get processes for recurring and
discontinued Spins created.

P.S.
I screwed up the devel list address the first time I tried to send this.

Today's meeting
by Bruno Wolff III
I have a conflicting meeting at work today and can't attend. I'll leave IRC
open so I get a log that I can review what later.
Things I am hoping get discussed:
Is the updated Games Spin page OK for F12?
What is the status of the recurring spin process? Is there a draft proposal
somewhere?
How does the dropping of what used to be alpha and the renaming of beta to
alpha and preview to beta effect the published timeline?

haskell spin submission for spin-kickstarts
by Jens-Ulrik Petersen
Hi,
I cooked up a simple kickstart file for a Haskell Spin which I think it would be nice to include in spin-kickstarts.
Most of it is fairly obvious I think but I am not married to any of the more optional packages...
Seems to work ok:
