-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
Reporter: kevin | Owner: sundaram
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: major | Milestone: Fedora 11 Beta
Component: fedora-xfce | Keywords:
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
Greetings. I would like to request commit:
9ec863778654f5462ab33300181ec1a9348d58ef
from head be applied to the beta branch.
This change does:
replace gnome-power-manager with the native xfce4-power-manager
add gigolo (GIOFS manager app)
and some whitespace and comment cleanups.
This would be nice to get in before thursday's Xfce test day.
I've tested compose with these changes and they look fine here.

they send in the Red Hat guy
<kanarip> somebody else maybe could run the Spins SIG meeting?

Attention Spin Maintainers!
by Jeroen van Meeuwen
All spins have succeeded in composing against rawhide today (20090424):
http://www.kanarip.com/revisor/
Here's how this list of spins work:
- Each day, a compose is being attempted.
- A spin that succeeded is listed with a green background, red then
obviously is a spin that failed.
- The name of the spin is a link to the spins "root" directory;
- .torrent file for downloading the spin results
- iso/ directory with the .iso so that you can see the size of the
product
- log/ directory with some debugging output as well as reporting on
package sizes, packages included, etc.
- os/ directory with the binary and source RPMs used.
Please take some time to either;
- Download the .torrent and go at testing the compose (the .torrent is
going to be rather slow as it runs on my home internet connection), or
- compose yourself against the master branch.
Please do so before Monday, and let us know if you're OK, or whether
there's things that still need fixing, so that we can add your spin to
the agenda and ACK.
Thank you in advance,
Kind regards,
Jeroen van Meeuwen

F11 Education Spin good to go!
by Sebastian Dziallas
Hi everybody,
just a quick heads up that the education spin looks fine from what I
see. I gave it a test drive using livecd-creator and it turned out to be
around 622 MB, which is fine with me. I booted it here on some local
machines and performed some testing.
So it's ACK'ed and can be added to the agenda! :)

Wiki page for Fedora 11 Accepted Spins
by John Poelstra
Does anyone know where the page for Fedora 11 Accepted Spins is? I'm
thinking it doesn't exist, but wanted to check before creating a duplicate.
Thanks,
John

Games spin kickstart updated
by Bruno Wolff III
I removed nexuiz for the games spin kickstart file (and updated the game
spin wiki to delist it there) in the master branch. (I think the update
is 136a10f..bea1371.) Is that all I need to do for this change to be
included in F11 going forward?

snapshot composes
by Kevin Fenzi
The rel-eng folks are currently planning on doing just "the Live,
Live-KDE, and Live-XFCE" for the snapshot this week.
(I asked for Xfce as the i686 beta iso has issues).
If any other spin owners really would like their spins composed for the
snapshot this week, please speak up soon.
All the spins should be composed for the Preview Release.
