Hey all,
Quick summary of email:
- Host Fedora meetup on 25/4/2016
-- Inform folks of upcoming events
-- Get them to contribute
- Can Red Hat sponsor it? (location & food)
I was thinking we should host a Fedora meetup on the last Monday of April,
25/4/2016.
Over the past few weeks, I've been talking to various folks, students
especially about the Fedora Project at meetups, etc, and recently started
the Fedora group on
meetup.com [1]. The agenda of this meetup would be to
inform folks of upcoming FOSS meetups, Fedora events (Brunch meetup, PyCon,
F24 release party, OpenMRS hackathon) and also get them to contribute
towards the Fedora project. In fact, we could also get them to start
straight with us and plan the F24 release party with us.
It would be fantastic if Red Hat could help sponsor this meetup for us as we
do not have any Fedora budget allocated to meetups. What do y'all think?
Thanks!

Go for it. Red Hat can host it. But I think it would be useful to have it
held at a non-corporate location.
