================================================================ #fedora-meeting-1: Fedora Server SIG Weekly Meeting (2017-09-26) ================================================================
Meeting started by sgallagh at 20:00:15 UTC. The full logs are available athttps://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting-1/2017-09-26/serversig.2017... .
Meeting summary --------------- * Roll Call (sgallagh, 20:00:15)
* Branding Bikeshed (sgallagh, 20:11:29) * AGREED: Server SIG agrees that we would like to avoid creating a new brand for the modular release. We will go with "Fedora Server Edition" and note that it is built from modular components in the descriptions. (sgallagh, 20:23:48) * LINK: https://pagure.io/fedora-websites/issue/735 but that doesn't have much content discussion yet (nirik, 20:27:21) * AGREED: Fedora Server SIG will not promote the traditional server through any official websites. We will recommend the use of Fedora 26 Server Edition or the generic netinstall of F27 for people who cannot wait for the modular release. (sgallagh, 20:30:36)
Meeting ended at 20:32:14 UTC.

What about the delivered images [1][2] ? Does Server SIG plans to deliver the "traditional" set of images for Server, or these are going to be suppressed and only the Modular version is going to be delivered ?

They will probably exist in the build system, but we're not going to promote them on getfedora.org or similar. If we can figure out how to avoid mirroring them, we'll probably do that as well.
