Take the following as just my opinion, not an FPL directive of any sort...
- A goal might also be pushing for text-only mechanisms for all
relevant
administrative functions (cf. the gpg-agent discussion)
I agree everything should be doable from the command-line (and tools like
Ansible). But I also think Cockpit is a nice part of our story. It fits into
the small/home environment and can help make things as easy as Windows while
still making the power of Linux available. And it works great as a remote
GUI.
