One of our goals since the server WG "reboot" was to cooperate with Cloud WG

I have briefly summarized the current state of discussion in
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Server/VM_Image. After 6 months of trying, the result is
that this plan is not viable. There is a lack of any preconditions for the implementation
or realisation of such a plan.
As a probably second best solution, we may look for a cooperation with an alternative VM
image provider. Providers found so far:
- virt-builder
- oz-install
Neither of them really fit (see above mentioned page)
Does anyone know of another prospective VM provider?
virt-builder isn't the same as virt-install. virt-builder comes with
VM templates, whereas virt-install runs Anaconda and goes through its
installation process to create VMs. You can pass kickstarts to
virt-install to automate that installation to create VMs however you
like, or you can have it do whatever the defaults are from libosinfo
with --unattended.
