So I am vaguely worried about this trend. Should image size really the #1
priority?
I don't see that as just about size but as much about security. In
banking/finance/govt/numerous other industries if it's not needed it's
not installed. Also things like bandwidth for updates, and something
like docker is fairly regularly updated ends up being a reasonable
amount of churn for no benefit to the user. A lot of places around the
world still have limited bandwidth.
