Hi,
The sagemath has been finally approved as a Fedora package,
updates for f18 and f19 were submitted:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/sagemath-5.8-6.fc18https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/sagemath-5.8-6.fc19
The rawhide build should be already available in most mirrors.
Please test it and give feedback :-)
Note that it is known to not be "perfect", further work on
it should be done, but it should pass over 90% of the
doctests (sage -testall).
