Heads up,
If you've modified Grub2 settings and ran grub2-mkconfig your system is likely booting
the unpatched release kernel 3.10.0-123.el7.
I've been using the following as a workaround.
CKERN=$(grub2-editenv list | grep saved_entry | cut -d'=' -f2)
DKERN=$(cat /etc/grub2.cfg | grep ^menuentry | grep "$CKERN" | awk
-F"'" '{print $4}')
grub2-set-default "${DKERN}"
