Hi everyone,
I'm Michael Kohl and generally go by citizen428 online (https://citizen428.net/).
I've been a Ruby developer since ~2004 and was part of Gentoo's Ruby team (amongst others) from around that time until mid 2006 or so. I have contributed some bugfixes to JRuby (https://github.com/jruby/jruby/commits?author=citizen428) and quite recently my first one to MRI (https://github.com/ruby/ruby/commits?author=citizen428). I'm quite involved in the Ruby community and co-organize Bangkok.rb and RubyConf Thailand. I also like speaking at events myself.
I currently work for DEV (https://dev.to/) and our systems stack leverages FCOS. So I'm interested in helping with getting new Ruby releases packaged fast.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
Have a nice day, Michael

Hi Michael,
welcome! Good to have you.
I've sponsored you! In case you're not yet familiar with packaging in Fedora: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Ruby https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/
Good start is to submit some new package for review, or to do some "unofficial review", or newly you can subit pull requests to enhance / upgrade current packages: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers?rd=Pa... https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_get_sponsored_into_the_packager_group#...
I'd also advise to tools like mock: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers?rd=Pa...
Regards,
