release

This is a tracking bug for Change: X2Go
For more details, see: http://fedoraproject.org//wiki/Changes/X2Go
The X2Go project has taken over development of the old NX libraries and has
developed new clients and server code around it. We will move to use the X2Go
NX library in Fedora and include the full X2Go suite.
--- Additional comment from Orion Poplawski on 2013-08-22 11:20:42 EDT ---
Review of main nx-libs component is stalled.
--- Additional comment from Orion Poplawski on 2013-08-31 00:11:58 EDT ---
We seem to be making progress again. Current issues:
- nx-libs should be approved soon
- x2goclient is blocking on a bundled library exception -
https://fedorahosted.org/fpc/ticket/343
- remmina-plugins-nx and qtnx will need to require nxproxy
- freenx-server will need to require nxagent
As a proven packager I can make the above two changes once nx-libs is imported.

Orion, I can see all tracker bugs closed. Does this mean this Change is
completed now and could be moved to ON_QA?

yes, I think so.

[Bug 977413] New: named: "PID file has been moved to /run/named/named.pid" should be documented
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=977413
Bug ID: 977413
Summary: named: "PID file has been moved to
/run/named/named.pid" should be documented
Product: Fedora Documentation
Version: devel
Component: release-notes
Severity: high
Priority: unspecified
Assignee: relnotes(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: thozza(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: docs-qa(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
CC: oglesbyzm(a)gmail.com, relnotes(a)fedoraproject.org,
wb8rcr(a)arrl.net
Description of problem:
Since F19 the named PID file has been moved from default location
(/var/run/named/named.pid) to new location (/run/named/named.pid).
If someone is using custom named.conf based on older Fedora (before F19),
then they need to add a pid-file statement into options section to point
to the new PID file location.
options {
...
pid-file "/run/named/named.pid";
...
};
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 19
Actual results:
No documentation.
Expected results:
Release note informing about this change or it should be somewhere documented.
Additional info:
There is already F19 Bug #977191 cased by not informed user. Sorry for the late
Bug. The change was made by previous maintainer and I'm not aware of any
existing note warning about this.

fedora_requires_release_note granted: [Bug 1005611] BEAST workaround not enabled in Firefox
by Red Hat Bugzilla
Product: Fedora
Version: 19
Component: firefox
Matthew Miller <mattdm(a)redhat.com> has granted fedora_requires_release_note:
Bug 1005611: BEAST workaround not enabled in Firefox
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1005611
------- Additional Comments from Matthew Miller <mattdm(a)redhat.com>
See https://fedorahosted.org/fesco/ticket/1181 and the fesco meeting log. We'd
like this to be applied in F20 and also as an update to F19 to go into
updates-testing.
I think this probably also could use a release note. Elio, do you have some
text for that? On the devel mailing list you note:
> Also, the notes in the Bodhi update should be very clear and explain that
> user that, for reasons of compatibility, needs to opt out of the more
> secure default can do so by setting the environment variable
> NSS_SSL_CBC_RANDOM_IV=0.
Is there anything more to say?
