kevin reported a new issue against the project: `releng` that you are following: `` mock in version 1.4.2 switched from using a traditional chroot to using a systemd-nspawn container.
I've updated the builders in staging to this version with the f26 reinstall.
For normal packages it seems fine, but there are still a lot of unknowns.
This ticket is to track those and decide what we want to do.
Known issues:
* kernel builders cannot use systemd-nspawn because they bindmount /var/run/pesign into the chroot to allow access to the secure boot signing token.
* compose channel builders may well not be able to use it because they create and use loop devices.
More testing may be needed. We may want to look at a koji patch to disable this so we don't have to stay on an old unmaintained version of mock. ``
