after some weeks of on-and-off dbeugging, I've fixed a number of outstanding bugs only today in system-config-services which haven't touched strings (so it's a low risk to include this), but without which testing the application doesn't make much sense:

Please include system-config-services-0.99.23-1.fc10 in the Beta so that it can get wide-spread testing.
