Hi,
Please create a live image for Fedora 24 L10n test day scheduled on March
29th.
Here is the ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-qa/ticket/480
It would be really nice if we can get the image ready by the weekend as
its Easter on Sunday and then its just one day for the test day
Thanks

I would like to request an user (at least in stg for now, prod can wait if
necessary) for Koji Content Generator imports from the Docker Layered
Image Build system. I would like to use the username: containerbuild
I would also like to have the user's koji certificates available via
private ansible so this can be used for configuring OSBS builders.
Thank you,

#6371: Create Fedora 24 Alpha candidates

We're well past time for Fedora 24 Alpha non-nightly composes:
https://fedorapeople.org/groups/schedule/f-24/f-24-releng-tasks.html
We have not needed any non-nightly composes yet as we have not been in RC
state and nightlies have included all available blocker/FE fixes. However,
we can now do an 'RC' build - all accepted blockers have fixes.
As dgilmore and I discussed, for the new Pungi 4 regime, we'd like to
start out keeping things relatively simple and not worry about trying to
encode the 'TC/RC' concept in the Pungi 4 compose label. My suggestion for
this first candidate is it be labelled "Alpha-1.1"; if a second candidate
is needed it will be "Alpha-1.2", and so on. The 'release number'
identifier for all Fedora 24 milestone composes should be 1, and we will
simply increment the 'respin' identifier for each new milestone compose,
regardless of whether it would have been a 'TC' or an 'RC' under the old
system.
There is one side build to pull in for this compose:

Release Engineering for the Fedora Project
Hello all,
There is currently an issue with Fedora composes because of an
unexpected change to the dnf API which has broken lorax[0], we are
currently waiting for this to land in stable[1] and will get a release
out after that.
This kind of failure is something we don't currently handle gracefully
but we have a plan of action that will be worked on asap to resolve
that. Once that is in place, we hope in the future the issue is caught
with (hopefully) enough lead time to resolve it before release time.
On behalf of the Fedora Release Engineering team, apologies to anyone
this may have caused a negative impact upon.
Thank you,
-AdamM

#6374: Add epel-rpm-macros to EPEL5 buildroot

Analogous to what happened for EPEL6, I've created an epel-rpm-macros
package for EPEL5. It's been in stable for some time (though, of course,
not in the buildroot) and I've done many mass rebuilds of EPEL5 with it in
the buildroot to ensure that it doesn't cause issues. EPSCo was in favor
of having it added, and I'm back from my vacation so I'll be around to
deal with any issues that do crop up.
Hopefully this will allow us to drop some specfile constructs unnecessary
in any other release before EPEL5 actually goes away in a year.
Thanks!

#4986: Create a 'Deliverables' page / SOP listing exactly what images, torrent

Comment (by acarter):
PGM has begun publishing release deliverables [1] but the list that's
maintained is not kept up to date and does not cover the concerns outlined
here. Because the list is not well maintained it's not really used by many
stakeholders. We need to identify an owner for this list and enable that
owner to keep it updated in a sane way. The list should be systematically
queryable by release and QE tooling at least so we can validate
expectations. A likely candidate for storing this data is PDC.

a basic outline of the steps needed
koji move-pkg <source tag> <dest-tag>
list the latest rpms in the tag
sign the rpms something like "NSS_HASH_ALG_SUPPORT=+MD5 sigul sign-rpms
--v3-signature --store-in-koji fedora-24
/mnt/koji/packages/openh264/1.5.2/0.3.git21e44bd.fc24/*/*rpm -o
tmp/signed/"
import the signatures into koji "koji import-sig tmp/signed/*"
write out the signed rpms
mash the repo
sign the repo metadata
tar up the repo
create email attching the tarball and send it to the folks over at cisco.
