I need a buildroot override for parrot-2.5.0-1 for F-12, F-13 and EL-6 in
oder to build the corresponding Rakudo. For building rakudo the packages
parrot, parrot-devel and parrot-tools are needed.
Would you please tag:
parrot-2.5.0-1.fc12
parrot-2.5.0-1.fc13
parrot-2.5.0-1.el6
to dist-*-override.

We have ready almost all packages. The rest will be fixed in few days and
shouldn't break anything.
Could you merge dist-f14-perltest with rawhide? Or do we have to rebuild
all modules again in rawhide? Do you need list of modules or could you
simply push all build from dist-f14-perltest
into rawhide if they don't have higher nvr in rawhide?

We might get better coverage if we explicitly specify when it it needs
to happen vs. "all the time" :)

That is followed by the hand-off to QA on 2010-10-16 and then they have
a week to qualify it. This raises a couple of questions:
1) How long does it take to create the final spins? (releng)
2) How much time do you need to test them and when should testing start
and end? (spins)
3) How much lead time does releng need to post the spins for GA, get the
torrent files ready, etc? IOW, when does the testing of the spins need
to be completed by and spins that do not work dropped for Fedora 14?

Asked a different way above.

I will put on the schedule for the Friday before GA.

Yes, working with them to find out how much lead time they need is
probably a great idea. Then we can add some milestones to their
schedule too so they can be thinking about it and preparing in advance.

Packages such as nss-softokn-freebl which are multilib, and therefore both
i686 and x86_64 versions appear in the x86_64 tree, are not getting pushed
to the x86_64 tree when updated.
This, for example, makes it impossible to install glibc.i686 on an updated
x86_64 F13 system via yum, which is a problem.
