fdisk is for MS-DOS-format partition tables. Use "parted /dev/sda print"
instead.
Out of curiosity - is pdisk depricated?
I remember back in the day, I was able to do some rather nice stuff with
pdisk that I could not do from OS X with any partition took (including
pdisk that came with OS X) - it was a nifty tool, but I don't seem to
see it in FC4 for ppc.
