Hello-
I tried to follow your instructions per http://www.redhat.com/magazine/007may05/features/mac-mini/, but things didn't quite work out right. After rebooting, I don't see that Fedora is a bootable option.
I know that versions have changed -- are you aware of any detail install instructions for Fedora 13 and OSX 10.5?
Much obliged!
Mike

Those instructions are way old now! I haven't tried Fedora 13 on a Mac Mini or any other PPC infrastructure in quite some time - lets hope someone else on list will help. Failing which, in a few weeks, I'll spin up the old Mini (with 256MB of RAM afaik) and see how it goes

There is no Fedora 13 release for PowerPC. You'll have to use Fedora 12.

Hi,
Installing f12ppc needs no instructions now...
the Fedora 12 install experience on a mac mini is no different than any other hardware.
I built mine straight off the dvd iso. Absolutely painless. The only thing remotely different is getting the mac to boot from the iso... I never remember the key combination to hold down on boot.
feel free to flick me a mail if you get stuck...
cheers

Thanks for the suggestions. I did mention to Colin that my mini is in fact Intel. He let me know I was on the wrong list ;-)
At the same time, if anyone has experience w/F13 and 10.5 on an Intel mini, please feel free to point me to a good source for instructions/advice.
Thanks!
Mike
