That would mean that enthusiasts like myself, happily running Fedora on
a Power 285 workstation, would lose Fedora?
Um, what version of Fedora are you running on that? As far as I know,
the recent (not End-of-Live) versions of Fedora for POWER don't really
support anything less than POWER6.
