Thanks colin. I tried a newer rpm and had more dependency error
messages. That link below installed and does the job.
I do not have a component list with me at work, but will reply with the
system details when i get home, re: sound problems.

Magic in /etc/modprobe.conf needs to happen. What Mac do you have and
what kinda sound device is it?

Get the vnc-4_1_1-1.ppc.rpm
Or an older version for fc3:
