Bug ID: 1531814
Summary: Update to perl-Tree-Simple from 1.31 to 1.32 causes
new warning spew
Product: Fedora
Version: 27
Component: perl-Tree-Simple
Assignee: rc040203(a)freenet.de
Reporter: tibbs(a)math.uh.edu
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org

rc040203(a)freenet.de
After my machine update from perl-Tree-Simple-1.31-3.fc27.noarch to
1.32-1.fc27.noarch recently, RT (a ticket tracking system written in Perl and
packaged in Fedora as "rt") started logging very many warnings, all equivalent
to:
[758] [Fri Jan 5 23:36:43 2018] [warning]: Use of uninitialized value $ret in
string eq at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Tree/Simple.pm line 475.
(/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Tree/Simple.pm:475)
I filed this at what I believe is the proper upstream:
https://github.com/ronsavage/Tree-Simple/issues/4
but I wanted to track it in Fedora as well.
