$ rpm -q perl-SVK perl-SVK-2.0.2-3.fc9.noarch $ rpm -q swig swig-1.3.33-2.fc9.i386 $
Every invocation of "svk" generates the warning:
Name "swig_runtime_data::type_pointer3" used only once: possible typo at /usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line 226.
The command still runs but the warning gets a bit tiring after a while.
P.S. Based on the error, it's possible this is a SWIG issue instead.

So the problem will be fixed as soon as perl-SVK is rebuilt against the new swig (in Fedora 10 and rawhide).

SVK is noarch and does not use swig directly. It uses the subversion-perl bindings. The latest subversion-perl-1.5.4-3 was built on 2008-10-27 while swig-1.3.35-2.fc10 was built on 2008-05-16 so it presumably was built with the latest swig.

The problem is that the perl bindings inside subversion-1.5.4 were built with 1.3.31. In particular, the C files in subversion/bindings/swig/perl/native in the subversion-1.5.4.tar.gz contain old version of the swig-generated C code which was changed in swig 1.3.35.
I am not sure if subversion swig bindings can be rebuilt with newer version of swig. Or if this needs to be done by subversion packager or upstream.

This message is a reminder that Fedora 9 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 9. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '9'.
Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 9's end of life.

However that's probably bug #480503 Still, I think F11 still has SVK so this would still be an issue. And F10 certainly has SVK and it IS an issue.
