Bug ID: 1729976 Summary: Please package perl-LWP-Protocol-connect Product: Fedora EPEL Version: epel7 Status: NEW Component: perl-LWP-Protocol-https Assignee: extras-orphan@fedoraproject.org Reporter: clem.oudot@gmail.com QA Contact: extras-qa@fedoraproject.org CC: extras-orphan@fedoraproject.org, perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org, ppisar@redhat.com Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora
Description of problem:
Some HTTP proxies require to use the CONNECT method. This is possible with Perl using LWP-Protocol-connect, but this module is not packaged in EPEL.
Would it be possible to do it?

--- Comment #1 from Petr Pisar ppisar@redhat.com --- This package is maintained by "sni" in Fedora. Maybe the Fedora maintainer could take care about this package in EPEL.
It looks like this package does not have any missing build and run time dependencies and adding it to EPEL is trivial.
