Hi,
Could you please branch and build perl-Protocol-WebSocket for EPEL 10 ?
I would need it to build another package.
If you don't want or have time to maintain this package in EPEL, I'd be glad
to be added to the package so I can take care of it.
Indeed, I can help with maintainance in Fedora too.
My FAS username is xavierb.
Regards,
Xavier

Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on
a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw
indeed affects their package, before starting the update process.
Archive::Tar versions before 3.10 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via attacker
controlled entry size field in tar header.
_read_tar() reads each entry's payload with $handle->read($$data, $block),
where $block is derived from the entry's 12-byte size field in the tar header
with no upper bound on that value.
A crafted header declaring a multi-gigabyte size causes Perl to allocate a
scalar of that size.

patch file
Hello,
Could you please create an EPEL 10 branch for perl-SQL-Abstract?
The current Rawhide package builds successfully for EPEL 10 with a small patch
attached. The patch comments out two BuildRequires that depend on
perl(DBIx::Class), which is not yet available in EPEL 10 and fixes RPM warnings
caused by macros in comments.
These are only used for optional tests and do not affect the runtime
functionality of the package. A successful mockbuild against epel-10-x86_64 has
been confirmed.
Thank you in advance.

I've requested texlive-biblatex to be build for EPEL9 and am starting to work
on requesting the dep chain:
texlive-biblatex -> biber -> perl-DateTime-Calendar-Julian
It would also be nice to get EPEL10 ready as well.
If you do not wish to maintain perl-DateTime-Calendar-Julian in epel,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS orion);
please add me through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/perl-DateTime-Calendar-Julian/adduser
Reproducible: Always
