Hello,
We are working on bringing multiple perl packages into a 'upstream' (EPEL)
which we use internally (at GoodData). This package is one of many which have
builds in Fedora Rawhide but lacks EPEL8 branch. We would like to request it
and help you to maintain the package (incl. Fedora Rawhide).
Please add us to a maintainer list for the package perl-DBD-Mock. Our FAS
usernames are:
- tjmc
- kubo
Thanks for the cooperation in advance!

[Bug 1802358] New: Please remove Requires for Apache::Util
by bugzilla@redhat.com
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1802358
Bug ID: 1802358
Summary: Please remove Requires for Apache::Util
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Status: NEW
Component: perl-Template-Toolkit
Assignee: tcallawa(a)redhat.com
Reporter: jfearn(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: itamar(a)ispbrasil.com.br,
perl-devel(a)lists.fedoraproject.org,
tcallawa(a)redhat.com, xavier(a)bachelot.org
Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
Description of problem:
This package has a hard requirement for Apache::Util which pulls in mod_perl
and httpd, for cmd-line tools using Template-Toolkit this is a lot of
unnecessary and often unwanted packages.
IMO it should not require, recommend or suggest this dep. e.g. if you have a
web app but are using nginx you don't want mod_perl & httpd being installed.
It should Require HTML::Entities, if the user is running in a mod_perl
environment it will automatically fallback to using Apache::Util.
FWIW this deps breaks epel8 installs of this package ATM in some environments
due to a broken httpd module.
