I've updated po/ja.po to fix some wrong translations and so on.
Please see and commit the attached patch to master repository if you feel
good.
Should I contact the original translator (Kiyoto Hashida
<khashida(a)redhat.com>) to check and confirm this patch?

New Linux-PAM release?
by Thorsten Kukuk
Hi,
the last Linux-PAM release is now 1,5 year ago, since then we
made quite some code changes and the bug tracker looks pretty
good, means 3 enhancement requests and one defect are left.
So I would like to release a Linux-PAM 1.2.0 version during the
next days.
Any opinions?

Hi, while reading a PAM man page, I found a missing apostrophe in the
following sentence:
```pam_shells is a PAM module that only allows access to the system if the
users shell is listed in /etc/shells.```
I found several similar mistakes that I fixed in the attached patch.
pam_unix session too verbose
by Thorsten Kukuk
Hi,
at least from Ubuntu and openSUSE users there are a lot of
complains about the
"pam_unix(crond:session): session closed/open for user root"
messages pam_unix writes to syslog.
There is currently no option to disable this message.
I see two possible solutions:
- Only print it if "debug" option is given
- Introduce a "quiet" option to disable this
What do you think?
we use pam_chauthtok() to change passwords from one long lived daemon. we
discovered leaked heap chunks that contain password hashes. it turned out
that the non-reentrant versions of hash algorithms called by crypt()
allocate a heap buffer internally, that is not freed when the pam stack is
unloaded and libcrypt is dlclosed.
i'm attaching a patch for switching to the reentrant version when it's
available.
ps. for those interested in more details see for example
http://osxr.org/glibc/source/crypt/sha512-crypt.c?v=glibc-2.17 . the chunk
returned by realloc() on line 0429 is leaked on every call to
pam_chauthtok().
