Okay, I found out why:

[17:31] <spot> this way, we should catch the yum install php-FOO case
So this is okay, except that it needs to be added to the wiki page
(except where there is no name conflict) for example:
php-xmlrpc and php-pear-xmlrpc -- I'm *still* confused on these two ;-)
