We do, sortof, during the build in koji. However what we don't do is
separately store, track, and distribute those srpms. We used to way
back in the day, and one of the changes I made when I took over was to
unify the source rpm directories.
I cannot tell you if the srpms in each arch directory were unique or
not, they could have been the same srpm just copied into each subdirectory.
