Pointer? (google kmdl2 doesn't lead anywhere)
It's the kmdl API with more encapsulated parts (e.g. even smaller
specfiles) and a shifting helper package removing the neccessity of
yum plugins and thus working the same on yum/apt/smart/any
depsolver. There is also a dkmdl subsystem to make dkms users happy
It's not yet released though as my real life has gotten in the
way. But it's better than sliced bread, I'd dare compare it to peanut
butter. ;)
