What i wanted to know if there is a way to AUTO install the dependencies
rather than just pointing them out
I could do it in %post.
That's what yum does, if your package is in a yum repo. If not,
install it with yum install foo.rpm, and it will grab the deps from
the repo if available.
Now the binaries for the dependencies along with their respective
config
files with become part of the rpm that i ship.
The other requirements won't be part of your RPM, nor should they be.
Any comments ?
Thanks,
-Kamal.

Take a look at "mock" instead?
yum -y install mock ; man mock
