Summary: Review Request: python-userpath - Cross-platform tool
for adding locations to the user PATH
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Hardware: All
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Priority: medium

CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org

Classification: Fedora
Spec URL:

SRPM URL:
https://lbalhar.fedorapeople.org/python-userpath-1.3.0-1.fc30.src.rpm
Description: Ever wanted to release a cool new app but found it difficult to
add its location to PATH for users? Me too! This tool does that for you on all
major
operating systems and does not require elevated privileges! Fear not, this only
modifies the user PATH; the system PATH is never touched nor even looked at!

This package replaces python-adduserpath
(
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-adduserpath) - it's from the same
sources and the upstream project finally decided to use only one name for the
project and Python module. I've tested in rawhide that the upgrade from
python3-adduserpath to python3-userpath works as expected and I'll retire the
old one before I'll submit this one to avoid conflicts.
