It's not necessary to explicitly set the %opflags. They are
defined correctly
by the %configure macro. The debug package is empty due to the call of "strip"
in src/Makefile. It should be sufficient to remove it from src/Makefile.in with
a patch.
The include path /usr/include/freetype2 is correct. Thus the compiler should be
able to find it if freetype-devel has been installed.
OK, I have removed optflags and applied a patch to remove the stripping of the
binary, and that did the trick. Please find new files here:
