Description:
Biniou (pronounced "be new") is a binary data format designed for
speed, safety, ease of use and backward compatibility as protocols
evolve. Biniou is vastly equivalent to JSON in terms of functionality
but allows implementations several times faster (4 times faster than
yojson), with 25-35% space savings.
Biniou data can be decoded into human-readable form without knowledge
of type definitions except for field and variant names which are
represented by 31-bit hashes. A program named bdump is provided for
routine visualization of biniou data files.
The program atdgen can be used to derive OCaml-Biniou serializers and
deserializers from type definitions.

Description: Trinity makes syscalls at random, with random arguments. Where
Trinity differs from other fuzz testers is that the arguments it passes are not
purely random.
We found some bugs in the past by just passing random values, but once the
really dumb bugs were found, these dumb fuzzers would just run and run. The
problem was if a syscall took for example a file descriptor as an argument, one
of the first things it would try to do was validate that fd. Being garbage,
the kernel would just reject it as -EINVAL of course. So on startup, Trinity
creates a list of file descriptors, by opening pipes, scanning sysfs, procfs,
/dev, and creates a bunch of sockets using random network protocols. Then when
a syscall needs an fd, it gets passed one of these at random.
File descriptors aren't the only thing Trinity knows about. Every syscall has
its arguments annotated, and where possible it tries to provide something at
least semi-sensible. "Length" arguments for example get passed one of a whole
bunch of potentially interesting values. (Powers of 2 +/-1 are a good choice
for triggering off-by-one bugs it seems).
Trinity also shares those file descriptors between multiple threads, which
causes havoc sometimes.
If a child process successfully creates an mmap, the pointer is stored, and fed
to subsequent syscalls, sometimes with hilarious results.

Description:
The ACPI Component Architecture (ACPICA) project provides an OS-independent
reference implementation of the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface
Specification (ACPI). ACPICA code contains those portions of ACPI meant to
be directly integrated into the host OS as a kernel-resident subsystem, and
a small set of tools to assist in developing and debugging ACPI tables.
This package contains only the user-space tools needed for ACPI table
development, not the kernel implementation of ACPI. The following commands
are installed:
-- iasl: compiles ASL (ACPI Source Language) into AML (ACPI Machine
Language), suitable for inclusion as a DSDT in system firmware.
It also can disassemble AML, for debugging purposes.
-- acpibin: performs basic operations on binary AML files (e.g.,
comparison, data extraction)
-- acpiexec: simulate AML execution in order to debug method definitions
-- acpihelp: display help messages describing ASL keywords and op-codes
-- acpinames: display complete ACPI name space from input AML
-- acpisrc: manipulate the ACPICA source tree and format source files
for specific environments
-- acpixtract: extract binary ACPI tables from acpidump output (see
also the pmtools package)

NB: the intent would be for this package to supercede the iasl package which
(a) only ships the iasl tool mentioned above from the same upstream source,
and (b) is a little bit dated. This would be the more complete version of
the ACPICA tools.
NB: this package does work on x86_64; it may or may not work properly on
i386 or ARM. Part of getting this package into Fedora is to provide for such
additional testing and/or porting as needed.
NB: the pmtools package contains an another version of acpixtract, also
quite dated. The intent would be to either supercede it, or as shown in
the spec file, have the version from this package as an alternative.
The x86_64 version does have a clean scratch build (task #4906409).

Description:
ZABBIX is software that monitors numerous parameters of a network and
the health and integrity of servers. ZABBIX uses a flexible
notification mechanism that allows users to configure e-mail based
alerts for virtually any event. This allows a fast reaction to server
problems. ZABBIX offers excellent reporting and data visualization
features based on the stored data. This makes ZABBIX ideal for
capacity planning.
ZABBIX supports both polling and trapping. All ZABBIX reports and
statistics, as well as configuration parameters are accessed through a
web-based front end. A web-based front end ensures that the status of
your network and the health of your servers can be assessed from any
location. Properly configured, ZABBIX can play an important role in
monitoring IT infrastructure. This is equally true for small
organizations with a few servers and for large companies with a
multitude of servers.

This package shall go to EPEL 6. It already exists in Fedora and EPEL by the
name of "zabbix". zabbix20 conflicts zabbix to be in-line with EPEL policy.
This specfile shall serve Fedora and EPEL in the future. This greatly reduces
maintenance work, compared to the current situation. In Fedora the name will
remain "zabbix".
Different database implementations of the daemons are no longer in conflicting
sub-packages. Much rather you can switch between them with Alternatives. This
was demanded on an attempted review for 1.8:
