Summary: Review Request: ibutils - Upstream OFED package to
support InfiniBand hardware
Product: Fedora Core
Version: devel
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: normal
Component: Package Review
AssignedTo: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
ReportedBy: dledford(a)redhat.com
QAContact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: fedora-package-review@redhat.com,notting(a)redhat.com
The ibutils package is a collection of InfiniBand fabrid diagnostic tools. It depends on the openib package. The ibutils and openib packages are already in CVS and used in RHEL4 and RHEL5. I would like to add it to Fedora Core Development (aka rawhide) and possibly to Fedora Core 6 as an update.

- The reply from Parag will solve this issue.
By the way a python skeleton spec file created by rpmdev-newspec says:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
# Remove CFLAGS=... for noarch packages (unneeded)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This says that for noarch packages the following line should be
----------------------------------------------------------------------
%{__python} setup.py build
----------------------------------------------------------------------
as Parag replied (i.e. the part CFLAGS=... should be dropped)
> 2) The revision number to the Source tarball I downloaded should be added right
> ?
- There doesn't seem to exist any released tarball. You created tarball
by pulling codes from svn repository and packaging them by using tar
(perhaps).
In such case also adding revison number to tarball is highly preferred.

%description
ANother Tool for Language Recognition, is a language tool
that provides a framework for constructing recognizers,
interpreters, compilers, and translators from grammatical
descriptions containing actions in a variety of target languages.
Note for review: This package is called antlr3 (and the jar installed thus)
because it's API/ABI incompatible with the RPM "antlr" (ANTLR v2).
