-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2023-40de14d7fc 2023-10-31 21:04:41.210383 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : dracut Product : Fedora 39 Version : 059 Release : 15.fc39 URL : https://github.com/dracutdevs/dracut/wiki/ Summary : Initramfs generator using udev Description : dracut contains tools to create bootable initramfses for the Linux kernel. Unlike other implementations, dracut hard-codes as little as possible into the initramfs. dracut contains various modules which are driven by the event-based udev. Having root on MD, DM, LVM2, LUKS is supported as well as NFS, iSCSI, NBD, FCoE with the dracut-network package.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
This update attempts to address an issue whereby failure of the built-in media check on Fedora live and installer images is sometimes not visible because the screen blanks immediately after the failure. It introduces a 12-hour sleep before the system is halted, when the media check fails. The update includes both anaconda and dracut builds because the media check for live images is implemented in dracut, but the media check for installer images is implemented in anaconda. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog:
