Simon,
the Serial Interface plug-in contains a generic implementation and of
course is not able to understand all possible protocols and data
formats. This plug-in expects/supports the following modes:
- Command/Value - here data sets consisting of a command string and an
additional value are expected in both directions, when receiving them
a data set has to be terminated by a CR/LF and the data fields itself
are identified by a preceding string "CHAR", "NUM", "DIGI",
"BIN" or
"CMD"
- Plain - same as before but without a command value, everything is
transmitted/expected with a preceding identifier and terminated by a
CR/LF
- Raw - everything is treated as text but also terminated by a CR/LF
When the data you are try to receive differ from this format the
plug-in will not be able to mange them, simply because it does not
know your format. So you would have to modify the plug-in according to
your protocol.

Hi Jim,
i'm trying to recieve from my arduino a simple integer value like 10. I can
see that openapc is opening the interface but nothing more. Thanks.
