Re: Connecting CT EC1000 with RTC4 libraries

Jim,
I think I found the solution. In the configuration wizard it's possible to
convert the correction table from .xml to a scanlab file.
So I'll try as possible and then I'll write you if it's ok!!
Maybe I need an USB connection to the EC1000, but the vendor never gives me
the right datasheet for the I/O module. So i'm writing him to ask about
this.
Thank you very much for your rapid answers.

Connecting CT EC1000 with RTC4 libraries
by Francesco Perrucci
Hello,
I'm trying to connect my CT EC1000 ( find it into the supported hardware
page ) with the RTC library, but i'm not able to do it.
I found this into the EC1000 RTC Emulation readme file:
*The emulation is made possible by substituting the RTC4DLL.dll file in
your application directory with a series of DLLs including a CTI version of
RTC4DLL.dll. This collection of DLLs enable the translation of your
application’s RTC commands intoEC1000 native commands. *
There's a software called RTC emulation loader that ask me to browse into
the application's folder that contains the RTC4DLL.dll in order to replace
it, but i can't find this file into the OpenAPC folders.
In addition to this, into the scanner section of the project proprieties of
BeamConstruct I can't find the EC1000 entry. It seems that the software
doesn't support it.
Someone can help me? I'm not an expert.
