Dear OpenAPC follower,
openapc just announced version 2.4-1 of OpenAPC on Freecode.
The release notes for this version are as follows:
This version fixes several bugs and problems, mainly in BeamConstruct laser
marking software. This part of the software has left its beta state and is
contained as an initial stable version. New functionalities are available for
CNConstruct and BeamConstruct; their name, copyright information, splash image,
and more can be modified to use them with a different name when distributing
them together with one's own machinery. Several smaller enhancements, like the
ability to create a 3D sphere out of layered circles, have been added to
different plug-ins.
Project description:
OpenAPC is an APC (Advanced Process Control) solution that is highly flexible
and configurable and covers a wide range of automation, visualization, and
process control tasks from home control up to industrial automation. Control
applications created with the OpenAPC editor's visual interface can perform
several tasks dependent on how the application is configured and used. The
application is available for many different platforms, so OpenAPC projects can
be switched over to a different platform easily.
