Looks like that CentOS is running into delays due to RHEL-6 compiled
against some not-published packages (if I understand correctly).
However, Scientific Linux 6 is up and running few months now.
Could this be an option or RHEL-6 and OLPC-builds as an idea is not on the
table anymore?
They (Sebastian and I) weren't waiting on CentOS at all. They are done and
initial testing showed that they were working on EL6. Both Scientific Linux
and CentOS aim to be API/ABI compatible with the EL6 release. The packages
could do with more work and being updated to 0.92 with associated deps. The
work is being done within the EPEL Project [1] so it should be compatible
with all platforms.
