Hi there,
I want to provide in a csv file statistics about activities utilization. I've read that there are two different datastore format where metadata (activity name and last lunch timestamp), the new one is really easy to understand. Does anyone has a link or know a way in order to find metadata in the old format? I have found folder with timestamp as name, but there are only warning or errors in those onces, and activities are mixed.
At last I will read the Journal activity code but I am sure that there are docs around (to find quickly which files I need to parse.) I read some explanation on the wiki.laptop.org[1] but that's not really accurate if we don't have the filesystem to look at.
I did some stats gathering last year. Code is here:
http://git.paraguayeduca.org/gitweb/users/rgs/xs-scripts.git?js=1
And an enumeration of the fields in each entry's metadata file is here:
http://wiki.paraguayeduca.org/index.php/Analisis_de_Uso_de_Actividades
It works with Sugar 0.84's Journal iirc. The script we'll need some tweaking since it was run on the school server (against backups).

Regards,
Great thanks,
I think journals that I'll have would be in the 0.82 format. I'll give back what we will developp, That's for OLPC-France and our deployment in Madagascar.
Are you at the Uruguay Tour?[1] We have Bastien who is over there.
