Hi all,
I encourage you to watch this discussion I had with Ibiam Chihurumnaya.
We recorded it this morning, and it will be broadcast tomorrow at 13:00
ET (17:00 UTC; 22:30 IST).
I learned a lot about Ibiam, and I think you will, too.
We even explored some provocative questions such as "was OLPC a failure"
(as various search engines would have us believe). Learning more about
Ibiam's journey through the OLPC and the Sugar Desktop Environment was a
real eye opener, even for me.
Basically, conversations such as these help put a spotlight on what
Walter Bender points out to be an important, seldom asked question: What
are the kids doing with the computers? (Ref:
https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxKriyT22QEsiBzZmX7ZhNxIY7JYnHvjS7?feature=shared)
And, since some time has passed, we can now ask them what are they doing
today.
If you join the premier live on YouTube, you can join the discussion and
share your thoughts in a real-time chat.
Cheers,
Devin

Hi,
Today at 13:00 ET (17:00 UTC; 22:30 IST), we will premier the latest
presentation of Sugarizer by the head of the project, Lionel Laské.
Please tune in at that time to YouTube via the following link:

Also, I set it up so that closed captioning will work, if you're like me
and enjoy that option.
I'm very excited about this. I watched the presentation, and I learned a
lot about Sugarizer, as well as was sincerely moved by Lionel's
commitment and passion.
Cheers!
Devin
