Notes:
We're definitely going to need to add the new camlp-streams module.
You'll see many instances of the warning below. Luckily we don't have
to do this immediately.
File "vernac/vernacinterp.ml", line 177, characters 9-26:
177 | (Stream.of_channel in_chan) in
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Alert deprecated: module Stdlib.Stream
Use the camlp-streams library instead.
I upgraded lacaml, sqlite and res to the newest versions.
I think we should use dune "--profile release" everywhere. It doesn't
turn warnings into errors, but more importantly that's what opam uses
for building.
I upgraded coq to 8.15.2 in this hope it would fix this build problem,
but it does not:
Error: No implementations provided for the following modules:
Dynlink referenced from kernel/kernel.cmxa(Nativelib)
It seems to be this issue:
https://github.com/coq/coq/issues/15603
but I already have the commit which is supposed to fix that one.
But then I thought it might be a findlib problem. The new findlib
has:
$ cat /usr/lib64/ocaml/dynlink/META
# Specifications for the "dynlink" library:
requires = ""
version = "[distributed with Ocaml]"
description = "Dynamic loading and linking of object files"
directory = "^"
browse_interfaces = ""
archive(byte) = "dynlink.cma"
archive(native) = ""
Whereas the old one is the same except:
archive(native) = "dynlink.cmxa"
The old one looks like it's correct. But if so, I would expect a lot
more packages to be broken. So IDK.
Rich.
