Resurrecting this old email thread. I am not happy keeping doing this.
Time-stamping the name was okay in the early stages but not now. It can
lead to errors which are hard to track. I want to get out of the
business of making pseudo release tar balls balls in fedora. Now we have
an interim upstream repo for the pem work and Kai is making steady
progress in cleaning up the code for the submission upstream as part of
nss.
Would it be a good idea to make and post release tar balls as Kai
reaches certain milestones?

Sounds like a good idea. Would it be possible to create a lightweight git tag
per release so that we can keep track of changes between releases?
