I am a system administrator in the Accelerator Division of Jefferson Lab. I am interested in setting up a private mirror of EPEL 6 for use with some of our computer systems. I don't have many of the details just yet, but I wanted to introduce myself while creating my Fedora account and signing up for the mirror-list mailing list.
Thanks for planing to set up a mirror; to get it listed please create an account in the MirrorManager[1]; register your mirror in the mirror manager; enter your local netblocks in the mirror manager); run report_mirror[2] and as soon as you are listed in the database as up to date yum (and other clients) will be redirected to your mirror.
All this information can be found in more details in the wiki at:

Thanks for supporting Fedora!
