And an older one: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=485915 - mingw32-wpcap
while we're at it, native zfstream also needs a reviewer: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=438588
Some remarks:
I've found out what my problems were with cross-compiling my qt program. It turns out that packet.dll (from WinPCap) and maybe wpcap.dll must not be installed multiple times. Multiple packet.dll seem to somewhat work under XP, but the second packet.dll will see even local adapters as remote adapters on localhost. Multiple packet.dll under W2K crash the application in a way which makes it very difficult to debug with gdb. So it is best to use mingw32-wpcap to compile programs, but one should not use packet.dll contained in mingw32-wpcap, it's better to use the installer from winpcap.org, as it also sets up the registry so that the capture daemon (aka service) runs.
mingw32-g++, -ansi and <iostream> do not mix. From googling this seems to be a generic problem of mingw32, not fedora specific.
Thanks, Tom
