Greetings.
We are going to be releasing EPEL6 soon, and would like help with the
announcement. Here's a rough draft I have currently.
Any comments/corrections/re-wording/etc welcome.

The Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux (EPEL) project is happy to
announce today the release of EPEL6. The EPEL6 software collection is
add on packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and other compatible
systems, maintained by the community under the umbrella of the Fedora
Project.
Over 2500 source packages that build into over 5600 binary rpms are
included currently, limited only by maintainers eager and willing to
maintain more packages. (See below to join us!)
You might want to note two things. A) It is fully compatible with RHEL
6 and does not replace or conflict with anything in the base repository
and that EPEL enforces this via a policy. B) This is a community
repository and not commercially supported by Red Hat.
