Because of legal issue as you stated, Fedora cannot install RPM Fusion with default installation. User can do it with Installer.  I haven't tried KPackageKit so I presume it is a bug for that application should it not be able to install that repository.

Then we should fix the bug.

|
Because of Fedora nature of being free and open source, that option is not acceptable. RPMFusion already provides those drivers meaning having extra GUI  for that purpose is pointless. DeviceKit might provide an alternative.

What I meant is to install the driver via RPM Fusion ofcourse. All we need just a GUI solution. Like you said DeviceKit.

See http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/GStreamer_dependencies_in_RPM
Fedora Project will never have repository for those closed source or patented codecs on which RPM Fusion is taking care.

I think, you didn´t get my point. I know, this legal issues. All I want to say, we have to find a easiest way to install all kind of codecs at once, that anyone can do it, instead of using codes.

Already provided by packagekit via Add/Remove Software and editing source.

Yes, but not the DVD media as source. I can edit source to add DVD as software media, you also can, but other people, who will use Fedora for the first time, they will not know.

Then it is a bug issue for Fedora 9 which does not apply to Fedora 10.

Just I have tried to install amarok from a rpm by double clicking, what I have got ¨Local Install Failed : Can't install /home/angel/Desktop/amarok-2.0-2.fc10.i386.rpm¨. Is it a bug?

| 6. Need to add CD/DVD repo with Fedora 11 default installation, so people can use DVD to install softwares.
|
I think it is already available as Fedora repository.

No, it´s not. Go to Administrator>Software Sources. You will not get any options for DVD as software source.

|
|
| 7. From /etc/yum.conf we need to edit  keepcache=0 to 1 as default. So people can use the cache to install software later or to some other PC.
|
How about simply use yum-downloader command and enable deltarpm?

Yes, delta rpm is coming soon. I am very happy for it.

I pointed out having extra gui for each drivers, codecs are redundant and overkill. Fedora 10 has solved most of issues you mentioned and it is worth to read documentation about features[1].

I read the feature lists several time. Read my reply. Give me solution. I give this solution to other people, they are waiting for it.
